Admission Requirements

Five Ordinary Level credits passes at WASSCE, SSCE, or GCE, which must include: English Language, Government/History, another Arts subject and any other two Arts or Social Science subjects.

Students are expected to pass the following courses in the University Matriculation Examination (UME): English Language, History or Government and other relevant courses in the Arts or Social Sciences.

Direct Entry Students will be expected to possess (in addition to the basic UME requirements) a diploma in relevant and related areas, with minimum of Upper Credit pass from institutes recognized by the Senate of Benson Idahosa University.

DURATION OF COURSE

The full time programme is designed to run for a minimum period of four (4) years for candidates admitted through the University Matriculation Examination (UME).

Direct entry candidates shall be expected to complete their programme within the stipulated three (3) year period.
